Marketing Assistant 

Location:  Boston, MA

Are you interested in working for a dynamic technology company?  We have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Assistant to join our growing team!  In this role, you will be an essential part of the team, assisting to execute our marketing initiatives, including digital marketing, brand awareness, demand generation and event coordination. 

Some responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Collaborate with the Director of Marketing to implement marketing strategy
  • Provide overall support on all marketing-related initiatives
  • Assist with digital marketing, including creating content and monitoring social media activity
  • Enhance website for search engine optimization (SEO) and monitor visitor metrics
  • Assist with creating email marketing campaigns and landing pages
  • Help to develop marketing collateral, including press releases, presentations and solution overviews
  • Research industry awards, draft applications and track deadlines
  • Assist with tracking leads and importing data into NetSuite
  • Organize company events, trade shows, and seminars/webinars from start to finish, including researching venues, planning all logistics and attendance at events
  • Support marketing efforts in the requesting and claiming of Market Development Funds
  • Serve as a brand ambassador representing our core company values
  • Assist in the coordination of vendor meetings and lunches
  • Research industry events to showcase our thought leadership
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills
  • Stellar organizational and detail-oriented skills
  • Multi-tasking and time management skills to effectively work under deadline pressures
  • Maintains a high level of professionalism and confidentiality
  • Experience with event planning is a plus
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Knowledge of HubSpot or Marketing Automation Platform is a plus

Education and Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or a related field
    • 1-3 years of relevant marketing experience, preferably in the technology industry
