Organizing your Switch Rack and Cleaning the Server Room

Posted by Cathie Briggette on Fri, Jan 16, 2015

An organized switch rack makes a huge difference when you are tracing and replacing cables within your server room.  It also makes it much easier when removing hardware, and most importantly increasing airflow.

At NSK our associates have adopted good cabling habits, allowing our clients hardware to run cooler and more efficiently and ensuring the health and longevity of their cables by keeping a clean server room.

Organizing switch racks also prevents premature hardware failures caused by heat retention.

Good cabling practices may not sound important but at NSK we know that it does make a difference.

Here are a few of our before and after pictures for the image racks that we have organized.
