On Wednesday, October 14, 2010 the Babson College Alumni Technology Council will be holding a Cloud Computing Conference as part of their Breakfast Speaker Series. The event is scheduled to start at 7:30 am at Babson College’s Olin Hall, in the Needham/Wellesley Room.

The U.S. Government has been regulating Information Technology within the private sector for years. There are compliance laws such as Massachusetts’ 201 CMR 17 and the HIPPA Act of 1996 that outline how companies and organizations are supposed to store personal information of their employees and their customers/clients. However, our own government recently failed a security audit for failing to keep their systems updated in a timely manner.

Google Instant. Sounds like a “just add water” product, right? Truth is everyone is buzzing about Google Instant, which officially launched two days ago on September 8^th. What exactly is Google Instant? According to Google’s official site:
