An Interview with Ahmed Fadili at NSK Inc

As a company that is dedicated to supporting our client's technology needs, obviously cyber security is a big part of this support.  In an interview with Ahmed Fadili, Vice President of IT Managed Services, Ahmed discusses what NSK does for our clients to keep them safe, cyber security wise.

Question:  Do clients come to us regarding their security, or are we the ones that are bringing it to the forefront of their business? 

Windows 10 and MORE Security

Well October is Cyber Security Month, and we are going to try and write as many stories as we can to help celebrate this extremely important topic for Technology.

To start off the month our first story is about a program that one of our Help Desk Engineers created.  For some background into the story  NSK Inc helped a client get through a planned security audit to find better ways to keep their networks, employees and clients secure.  As part of the follow up they asked NSK to create a patch that would lock down the user accounts and restrict them from running certain applications that were not deemed acceptable for work, or that could pose a security threat.  NSK’s Help Desk Engineer Nick Seratt took to the challenge and created this specific patch for our client.  Below is an interview with Nick on how he created this small patch for our client to help them with cyber security.

September 22,  Molly wrote an article regarding the the Biggest threats facing businesses through Cyber Security, and then on the same day Yahoo confirmed that over 500 million accounts  were hacked!  As a technology group we want to warn ANYONE who has a Yahoo account that the BAD Guys are going to have a field day with this.  You are going to be inundated with Phishing schemes that are going to be full of masked links that are going to infect your computer.
